Rossi Group supported the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) on the I-495 & I-270 Public-Private Partnership (P3) Program, a key component of Maryland’s Traffic Relief Plan. The program aims to address congestion, enhance trip reliability, and improve multimodal mobility and connectivity along I-495 and I-270.

Rossi Group provided comprehensive planning, engineering design, and environmental planning services for the American Legion Bridge Study, the I-495 & I-270 Managed Lanes Study, and the I-270 from I-370 to I-70 Pre-NEPA Study.

Key services included:

  • Concept plan development and preliminary engineering
  • Alternatives analysis and cost estimating
  • Traffic modeling and analysis
  • Development of environmental technical studies and documentation

Additionally, Rossi Group facilitated outreach and coordination with regulatory agencies, community stakeholders, property owners, and the public to ensure a collaborative and inclusive approach.
